What Is ARTech?
ARTech is a two-month long pop-up activity center
comprised of STEAM-based experiential workshops, installations, and interactive moments for school age children + their accompanying adults.
What Is STEAM?
STEAM (Acronym, Adjective) - Of, or used to describe the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.
Who Is Involved?
ARTech is hosted by the Meatpacking BID and programmed by Children’s Museum of the Arts and the New York Hall of Science.
How Much Does It Cost?
ARTech Adult Nights are $20 for early bird sign-ups until March 20, and $25 after that. These events are open to the public, and are first come first served!
Will Tickets Be Available At The Door?
Tickets will not available at the door.
What's Cancellation Policy?
You can reach out to the organizer 48 hours in advance to cancel your ticket for a full refund.
How is Adult Defined for ARTech Adult Nights?
Tickets are for those persons 21 +.
What's The Time Of The Event?
The event is from 7:30-9:30PM is 2 hours long and allows you to explore all of the activations at your own leisure.
Will There Be Food/Drink?
Yes, we will be serving light bites and refreshments.
What's The Goal?
ARTech is designed to inspire young minds to explore and consider how these principles impact their daily lives and the world in which they live.
ARTech will enable exploration around problem-solving and creativity and seeks to facilitate experiential learning.
Using rigamajig and its wooden planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts, bolts and rope will allow children to follow their curiosity to build and play
using technology children will walk away with their own piece of digital art in partnership with GIPHY
